In the early days year 2014, when only a handful of resorts dotted the coastline, LaZerena began as a humble family beach kubo, a haven for cherished memories. MGC, captivated by Liwliwa's raw beauty and untouched charm, saw its potential for something more.

 

With a vision to share this haven with others, LaZerena embarked on a journey of growth. The first kubo was a testament to the simple joys of island life. More kubos were added, each bringing its own unique character and charm. A native restaurant was incorporated, serving delicious Filipino dishes, bringing the local flavors to life.

 

As the resort blossomed, the shoreline shifted, changing the location of LaZerena. Instead of being directly on the beach, it became a short, relaxing stroll away. Embracing this change, the name was altered to LaZerena Lodge, reflecting its unique position and the evolving nature of its offering.

 

This transition fueled further growth, leading to the addition of modern rooms and Group rooms, each designed to provide ultimate comfort. A refreshing pool and a rejuvenating jacuzzi were introduced, creating a haven for relaxation. To add further convenience and vibrancy, a well-stocked mart and a lively restobar were added, providing everything guests needed to enjoy their stay.
